POLYGRAPH EXAMINER'S COURSE:  Certified Primary Instructors and Former Law Enforcement Director

ACADEMIC STANDARD

  • The academic session of this basic course instruction run for ten weeks that include eight weeks on campus for basic training and field projects.
    • Classes are generally held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Monday through Friday, with an hour lunch break.
    • Public holidays observed by the Academy include New Year's Day, Labor Day, Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, Hari Raya Aidil Adha, Christmas and Independence Day.
    • During the course, the students are provided with course materials that will help students become certified polygraph examiners.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    • Candidates can easily patronage nearby food outlets, restaurants and retail shops within the school compound.
    • Usually public transport such as taxis and buses are available

    EXAMINATION

    • Students must complete the course of study with an average score of 75% or more for all examinations and assignments.
    • A certificate will be awarded attesting to the student’s achievement.
    • The academy will maintain permanent records of each student’s progress during the course which include all scores, class performance and conduct.
    • Further, students will receive guidance and progress reports on a weekly basis.

     ETHICAL STANDARD

    • Professionalism is expected of every student during the duration of the course.
    • Students must demonstrate conduct in a professional manner, honest and cooperative during the training sessions.
    • The director of the academy will make the final decision and will notify in writing of any action taken against the student..

     MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

    • English Language or Malay Language

     ACCOMONDATION

    • Special arrangement can also be made to rent a cheap hostel about USD180 per month.
    • The monthly rental for an apartment in the school compound is USD$520 per month

     SECURITY IN MALAYSIA

    • Malaysia is one of the safest countries in Asia.

    FOOD

    • Food is cheap and the cost of living is very low. For a comparison, the price of a Big Mac is only USD1.60 in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.
