- In Malaysia it is an offense to conduct private investigation without a license from Home Affairs Ministry
- Check owner/licensee operated otherwise. The rule from the ministry disallow the renting of the linsense to a third party.
- GENERAL PENALTY

- Any person contravening the provisions of this Act or any rules made thereunder shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
